Presidential Kush [strain review]

Review: This strain reminded me of some purples, but much more frosty. This was grown hydro I believe, dense nuggets but very dry. I bought an eighth of this stuff for $70 or $75, I can't remember, but it's not worth it. I smoked the whole bowl in one hit and I didn't even feel it kick in at all. "Kush" is what it is, the smell is lacking, not strong at all, it only looks good. It's one of those deceiving cannabis strains. I wouldn't recommend this for the price, the Lamb's Bread is much better and cheaper.

Review: This was the best strain I have tried from Greener Pastures Collective. The smell is plain, plant-like smell with also a very bland taste, not to much like anything. The smoke was rather smooth with an uplifting high that had my heart beating after the first hit. The nuggets where fluffy with minimal orange hairs and a thick amount of trich's. Overall this was a nice morning/afternoon smoke, or if you have a chill job then this is a nice strain to smoke before a tough day of work. If you plan on visiting Greener Pasture's I would suggest this one or the Chem Dawg they have.

Review: This was an extremly nice strain. I have to say, I’m 100% satisfied everytime I walk out of Green Angel of Malibu’s door. They have such a nice selection, and the largest selection that never gets down passed ‘Good’ quality, nothing there is ’shwag’ or ‘crappy’ or whatever, their $40/eighths are very nice. Anyways, this strain was very orange in color, the hairs took over all the green. The nuggets are exceptionally dense, filling about half the container as normal. The smell was very nice and smooth, very sweet, reminded me and my fiancee of cereal. This medication hits you immediately, don’t smoke this if you have plans to use excessive energy lol, the high is very strong. This strain, along with their ‘91 Malibu Fire’, have to be the strongest they have. I have yet to try the ‘91 Headband’, I hear that is very nice. Please post a detailed review if you have tried the ‘91 Headband’ from G.A.M.

P.S. - I was looking around and found this strain called ‘The Church’, it could possibly be the same strain and G.A.M. or the grower simply changed the name. I’m not sure but the orange hairs and description convinced it me it is the same strain.

'DELTA-9'/DRY ICE CONCENTRATE INFORMATION

Co-op's such as 'Green Angel of Malibu' are selling this stuff called 'Delta-9' and I've asked them what it is and how it is made and the responses I've gotten are - "It's crystallized kief." & "It's some made with alcohol somehow." - what? I didn't understand these answers. So I did some research and found out how this 'Delta-9' concentrate is really made - because this is the best concentrate I have ever tried, it is very, very potent. The way it is made is with dry ice and screens, like when making kief. You use methods similar to sieving the kief and making bubble hash. Instead of ice, people use dry ice because the freezing strength is much strong then regular ice, and dry ice will not melt, it will just turn into a gas and evaporate. So... with this being said, dry ice is a much better way to make a concentrated cannabis, it will freeze more trichs to be broken off, it will not turn into water and in my opinion - easier to work with in general. And the outcome between the two is an extreme difference - the dry ice will make a much more potent concentrate as more of the THC trichs will go be broken off and less plant material because less mixing will be involved. I have never actually made this style of concentrate - I have sieved kief and made bubble hash and other forms of ice water extraction but not dry ice. I honestly have had this idea long before I have ever heard of 'Delta-9' or dry ice hash, this idea came to me when I first made bubble hash with regular ice and thought that dry ice would be much more effecient in freezing the trichs. I don't have much experience with concentrate making - so if there are any mistakes I have said or corrections that need to be made please let me know. Like I said I have never actually made dry ice hash just had the idea and then did some research only to find out people already do this and it works, supposedly works, very well.

'Delta-9' Headband [concentrate review]

Genetics - concentrated Headband (OG Kush x Sour Diesel)
Review: This was, out of the three 'Delta-9' concentrates I've tried so far, definitely the best one. This time it wasn't a powder-like kief like they were before, this time it was more a solid hashish style concentrate. This was better in my opinion because the smoke lasted much longer. It was very shiny and when I broke some off it was similar to a hard, 'Jolly Rancher' candy, but broke off much easier. It immediately melted into a thick liquid like a hash oil when the flame came in contact. The taste and smell were of nice, pure hashish - no nasty plant or chemical tastes afterwards, just nice pure hash. The smell before the burn was very spicey/peppery smell, I really liked it. The high of all the 'Delta-9's are extremely potent and long lasting, several hours and hits your immediatlt after releasing the smoke. I would, like I said before, totally recommend any 'Delta-9' concentrate, or 'dry ice hash' over any other concentrate.

Review: This strain was very dark purple in color and thick yellow hairs, with some hints of light green. It has a medium amount of trichromes, not like some other strains where it is covered completely, just a medium amount. It had some leaves and was overall a nice smoke. I got a gram of this and I believe we smoked it all in one sitting. It has a strong purple taste, along with a purple smell. In my opinion, all purple strains are very similar.

Review: This was overall a nice strain, it looks very similar to the 'Disel Kush' from G.A.M. but lacking the smell and taste. Although, the highs were equally as good. The smell of this is very strong and pungent, sweet smell. The taste is very plant-like that stays there for along while. The high has very uplifting sativa effect along with calm indica effect, I enjoyed this strain. I would recommend this one if you ever are headed to Greener Pastures, and you'll know why when you get there.

Review: I got this strain from Greener Pasture's Collective, located in West Los Angeles. This is a pretty decent strain, the high comes on after a few minutes, definitely a creeper. The smell of this strain isn't very strong, none of the cannabis at Greener Pasture's smelt that strong, and the taste was that of pine/herbs. The look is very nice, thick covering of trich's, but the smoke is pretty harsh, made me cough for awhile.

Review: I got this stuff from A.C.C. and it was very good. Most the time my fiancee says she doesn't really care for the taste of the cannabis, but this time she immediately said 'Wow, that tastes really good', and I totally agree. This strain tastes excellent, the high is very thick and long lasting, it's an indica. The price was $20/gram, $60/eighth I believe, but it's worth it. The high is nice and the smell & taste are excellent. If you ever stop by A.C.C. or are in the 'Northridge' area, I think, check before going there, then I would definetely pick up at least an eighth of this stuff, if not more, its very good. I never got any pictures of this stuff, but next time I will.

Genetics - Lemon Thai x Chem Dawg
This is the second harvest of the 'OG Kush homegrown' that was reviewed before. This batch is much better and stronger, honestly, much nicer. This strain is very nice, it's definitely a creeper. I don't know for sure if it is "OG Kush" but I got this from the grower and they said it was "OG Kush" and for the compassionate price they gave, I could careless what strain it is, it's super fresh and stoney and it is very potent. When I first bought this stuff it was very moist till, not wet just moist, like fresh nuggets are. I smoekd some like this and I got high but it was hard to smoke. So I left it out overnight in a paper bag to let it dry and it made these nuggets so nice. They are nice and dense now, dry and crispy-like on the outside and super fresh and sticky on the inside. The outside is covered in a nice thick layer of huge trichromes, its very nice. They had yellow and light orange hairs, now they turned dark brown and dark orange. I tried it like this and it smoked perfectly, it light up right away and contiued to smoke nicely all the way through. The taste was a bit off, my guess is because they didn't trim the shade leaves, but it is still a very nice medication nonetheless. I'm still letting it sit in the paper bag somemore because it's still not quite how I like it, but in a few hours it'll be done, and later tonight or tomorrow I'll update along with nice pictures.

Review: This is honestly a very nice strain. This was one of the three new strains I tried this week at G.A.M. (Delta-9 OG Kush & SoCal Master Kush were the other two, I also picked up some Snow X Wreck). I smoked this the day after the 'SoCal Master Kush' and this got me more of what I was looking for off way less. The smell of this stuff is very pleasant with a light green flower and yellow hairs, a thick covering of giant trich's. The nuggets were more loose and not nearly as dense as the 'SoCal Master Kush'. Execellent, strong medication, definetely recommend this strain.

Review: This is overall a very nice strain. The smell is very sweet, and the nuggets, although small, are dense and covered in huge trichromes. I smoked a nice sized bowl of this with two scoops of that 'Delta-9 OG Kush' concentrate [reviewed earlier] and I was feeling it for about 3 or 4 hour solid, then it slowly wore off. I smoked another bowl of this, without the 'Delta-9' after the first effects wore off and I still felt it strong for about two hours then I fell asleep. I think this stuff is very good, especially right before sleeping.

Review: This is a great concentrate, just like pretty much all concentrates are good if made correctly. This is a hard-hitting indica, after one rip I immediately felt it and felt it for along time, a few hours. The only bad thing with the 'Delta-9' concentrates is that they burn way, way to fast. This stuff is expensive and if you can afford it all the time, then I totally recommend it. I would recommend you try few 'Delta-9' concentrate's to compare them, I have tried the "OG Kush" and "White Widow" concentrates, both from G.A.M., and I would recommend the "White Widow" between the two but I got way more when I bought the "OG Kush", there was honestly alot in there. But both are extremely potent. The taste is very similar to hashish, I don't know exactly what this is, looks similar to kief but this stuff has some bigger chunks, and the "White Widow" was darker and even some of it was black. The texture of both are similar to sand, but slightly stickier. Both these different strain concentrates were recommended to me by different staff and both so far have been extremely good. Let me know if you've tried anything you like or don't like from Green Angel please. So far I have been pleased with everything except the "G13" and "Maui Waui" but everything else is top-grade cannabis.

Review: This was really strong, although every oil I've had has been strong, but the taste was nasty like butane was left in the oil. This also wasn't dipped and covered in oil like the one I reviewed from A.C.C., I prefer the Sour Diesel Honey Buds from A.C.C. much better, stronger and tasted much cleaner, but this is $25/gram not $30/gram.

Review: This stuffed looked extremely good, similar to the Diesel Kush in my opinion. The smell was very strong, but the buds were sort of dry. It's probably due to the fact that G.V.C. weighs the buds right in front of you, I prefer pre-weighed - keeps the cannabis fresher. But overall this was a strong strain, smoked kind of fast. G.V.C. is compassionate enough to give free grams for patient referals, so this was my free gram. =)

Review: This was honestly just your regular purple strain. It was strong after a few bowls but I did not feel it immediately, it was a creeper high. I asked the guy there for a strong indica and he gave me this one, I didn't even smell it or look at it or anything until I got home. But it's honestly not so great, it is a strong high but after trying more strains from this place, I would say they have better choices for indica's. I could definitely imagine building a quick tolerance to this strain. For the price I would go with something different.

Review: This was a nice strong, hard-hitting strain. The taste and the smell were extremely nice. The high lasted along time also, which made me like it even more. It seemed to be dried very nicely, nice light-green in color with dark green leaves, but hardly any of them. For the price and the quality of this strain I would recommend it for night time or a relaxing day.

Natural Alternative Delivery Service (N.A.D.S.) [delivery review]

This is a delivery service if you live with the delivery radius, otherwise it's a pick-up service. I live outside the delivery area so I went to go pick it up from the delivery man. I bought an eighth of "Purple Lake" for $60. By the way, they don't do grams, they told me eighths and above, and if they delivery it has to be a quarter or more. To be honest, the cannabis was strong and hit hard after a few bowls but a bowl didn't do much. But after a few bowls I would feel it very strong, I believe this was a sativa/indica mix. For $60/eighth I would like something a bit stronger, I would say this cannabis should be around the $40-$45ish price range. The service is very professional and discreet, comes in a bag with the label with the strains' name on it. They said they had others for $70/eighth, but I haven't tried them yet. I didn't get any pictures or have a review on the "Purple Lake" strain, but I would rate it an overall "7.5". Also, I called to see what strains they had a few times before actually purchasing, didn't really seem like they liked that to much, but they have to verify you before they talk to you about anything, so be prepared and have your doctor's recommendation handy. They seem to always be getting new strains, the times I called they had "Pineapple Express", "L.A. Confidential", "Grandaddy Purple" and more, all for $70/eighth. Review: This strain was pretty damn nice. I bought a gram of this to try it out and it was very, very purple in color. I really didn't see any green on it. Right when I smelt it, it reminded me of fruity pebbles cereal, it's a very sweet smell. The nuggets seemed dried perfectly. I smoked a few bowls of this out of their nice bongs they have. I went back awhile later to get some more and they were sold out, so if they have more when you go, I recommend this one. Nice, thick, strong indica with a nice smell and taste.

Review: This strain was overall a weak indica. I bought a gram of this from Green Valley Collective in Northridge area I think and I wasn't really pleased. The taste was very nice, minty flavor. The smell was strong, that's how I ended up choosing it. Also because the guy there said this was a nice one. But the look was not so great, it was dry looking and dark in color, although it wasn't dry. G.V.C. has some good strain, I would say pass on this strain here and get something better, like "Purple Wheelchair" or "Butter OG" or something else.
I think this probably wasn't grown properly or was old or mishandled or something, because an OG Kush hybrid should be super stoney in my opinion.

Other info: If grown properly, can have up to 18%+ THC content.

Review: I purchased this from A.C.C. (Alternative Care Collective) in, I believe, Van Nuys. I don't know if the cannabis or the oil was Sour Diesel, but either way this was a very strong smoke. After the first hit I immediately felt it. They smother the nugget in the oil, I couldn't even see the weed. $30 is a little pricey, but I packed it all in the pipe and it lasted me a few smokes. When I went they had a deal that first time patients get a free gram of this stuff, but compared to other places that have the same price, this stuff is definitely the best I've came across in Southern California.

Review: I got a gram of this from Green Angel of Malibu and I have to say for $15 this is a really strong sativa. The smell is extremely strong like oranges and citrus. It is completely covered with trichromes on the inside. The outside was a little dry with some leaves, but it was still a great smoke and I definitely recommend this one. Strong morning medicine in my opinion.

In my opinion, I prefer the "91 Malibu Fire" or "91 Hollywood", they're excellent. But nonetheless, this strain is very strong with an extremely nice smell. Bubba Kush [strain review]

Review: I got this strain from a friend who said it was "Bubba Kush", not sure if it really is. But it was very stoney. The buds were small and dense, sort of dry but not to bad. I would recommend going to a dispensary to get your medication, if you have that as an option.

Review: I got this from A.C.C (Alternative Care Collective) and this is a pretty good sativa. Most the time I don't care so much for sativa's, but this is a strong one. The smell is pretty good, I based my decision at this place by the smell, and I thought this was the best one. The look was also very nice, it was cured and handled very well. The high was rather short but strong after the first hit. Recommended morning high in my opinion.

Genetics - 91 Valley X Ocean Breeze
Review: I got an eighth of this from Green Angel of Malibu, one of the best dispensaries I have been to by the way, and this strain is very potent. They say it is the best strain they have, but they have a lot of great ones to choose from. This strain is a 100% indica. I took one ripe from the pipe and I immediately felt it. The taste is very nice and not harsh at all. The nuggets were very dense and covered in trichromes and nice orange/yellow hairs. Once your broke the nugget open it smelled very strong. I definitely recommend this strain for the price of $20/gram or $60/eighth, its totally worth it. I also recommend you stop by Green Angel if you ever get the chance, they have an awesome selection and great staff (read my review on them in the post before this).

I recently bought an eighth of this stuff without checking it out because the previous five or sixth eighths I got of this stuff were excellent, but the most recent stuff I purchased was not as great. Seems liked it wasn't cured long enough, but I'm not sure. It was very strong nonetheless, but the taste wasn't there anymore, the smell was and the thick cover of trichromes but it didn't taste so great.

Sorry I didn't get better pictures, I smoked it pretty quick anyways.

Alternative Care Collective (A.C.C.) [co-op review]

On my first visit I recieved a free gram of Sour Diesel kief, a free gram of some Sour Diesel Honey Bud (the cannabis covered in honey oil), and a free edible. This place was very professional at what they do and they were all very nice. I will be going back to that place soon, probably tomorrow, and I recommend you all to try this place out if you can. They have a great variety of strains and the prices are pretty good, the eighth range from $45-65 but the quality is totally worth the price.

I went back to this place and got a gram of some "A.C.C. OG" and, honestly, this weed tasted really great, and the high was very thick and long lasting. [read my later post on "A.C.C. OG" for more info]. But like I said before, this place was very nice. I recommended a patient and all I received was a free edible, I thought that was kind of lame though. Places like Green Valley Collective are compassionate enough to help out with grams for patient recommendations. But I do recommend this place for their strong strains and their prices are the same as most others.

Green Angel of Malibu [co-op & strain review]

This is a great dispensary located off the Pacific Coast Highway. It was a little hard to find at first, but it has a great parking area with plenty of space. They were very fast to verify me and the guy lead me around the corner to the displays. They have many strains here, their website says 70+ and I believe it, there were a lot of them. I didn't check them all out, only a few and decided to try the ones above. The "L.A. Confidential" is super dank, it's ones of my favorite strains. The smell and the taste are awesome, and the high is very thick. It's an indica for $20/gram or $55/eighth and I highly recommend it. "Maui Wowie" was the sativa they recommended me, because I asked the guy there who was helping me to recommened me their best one, the best indica and the best sativa, and this was the sativa they recommened me. In my opinion, it was rather weak. It smelled really nice and the look was very nice aswell, but the smoke wasn't nearly as good as the looks. For $20/gram and $55/eighth I would say to try this as a small amount before purchasing a large quantity for the stash. The indica he recommended me was "God's Gift", he said it was a purple. The smell on this one was very nice, clean, sweet smell, I enjoyed it. The taste was pretty nice, so was the look, purple leaves with orange hairs. The smoke was pretty nice, it was a creeper as it took awhile to kick in but after it was in full effect it was a very nice high. For $20/gram and $55/eighth I would recommened to buy an eighth or so of this stuff but I could imagine building a tolerance rather quickly from this strain. And when I asked for the best one he pulled out a few - "91 Valley", "91 SF", "91 Hollywood" and "91 Norcal" I believe, they were all super dank stuff. They all smelled very good and when they gave me the sample to look at they all seemed very well cured and properly maintained. I ended up choosing the "91 Hollywood" and I can say this is an excellent strain. One hit from this stuff and I was already feeling it very well. It smoked for along time aswell, I got about 7 or 8 nice hits out of one bowl. This place pre-weighs all the stuff so I don't know exactly how much these were but it seemed pretty hooked up if you ask me. The "91 Hollywood" is $20/gram and $60/eighth and is an excellent deal for the potency and how high quality this strain is. I also ended up choosing "White Widow" which was very excellent. It was $20/gram and $55/eighth which I think is a decent deal. I recommened the "L.A. Confidential" and the "91 Hollywood" from this place for sure, they are excellent. Overall this place has pretty good deal, prices similar to others but the quality of medicine is much higher. The people who run it are extra nice people, showing me all different types of the strains they had and explaining what everything was my first time there, and they even gave me a free thc lollipop also. At the end of me purchasing my medicine they even asked if I wanted to use the lounge and relax. They don't have anything over $60/eighth which is pretty decent because the quality is so excellent and the variety they have is superb. They do go as low as $15/gram and $40/eighth for stuff like "Northern Lights" and "OG Kush" and much more from $40-60/eighth.

Review: Got this hash from a friend and he said it came from Northern California somewhere. It was really smooth to the touch, it might have been handled a lot. It was very shiny and dark in color, looked very nice. The smoke was pretty good, it bubbled a little but not so much. The taste was excellent, I love the taste of hash and this tasted nice. It smoked really slow over a bowl and got me baked after a few hits. It wasn't full melt or oil or anything but this concentrate, which came from an unknown strain, is really good. I got a gram of this from a friends as a gift.

Review: High is pretty strong, makes my legs feel kind of tingly. I think its indica/sativa i. Got this from Anonymous and it called this strain "Afghan Gold". It was very dense and covered with a thick coat of shiny THC crystals. The high lasts along time and is very enjoyable. This is a great medication. $20/gram

Review: I don't know for sure that this is Power Plant but whatever it is got me super stoned. Got it from Anonymous and he said it was Power Plant. I really liked the smell of this stuff, it smelled like mango juice. The taste was kind of gross, not really like anything, just burnt. But the high was really strong in the body, I assume it was an indica. It kept me stoned off two bowls between two people for awhile, about two hours. Even though the overall is rated 7.3, I would rate this at least a 8.5 because the high was so good and strong, really thick throughout the body.

Review: I got this from a regular and said it was suppose to be really good, but it turns out it wasn't. Not sure at all if this is real "Candy Kush" but I wouldn't label it as kush at all. I didn't get a picture of it. It smelled like pine and minty kind of, I didn't care so much for the smell. It was kind of dry also. The high was mediocre, got me pretty high for a little while then shorty I wasn't so high anymore. $40/2 gram

Review: This strain was kind of dry and smoked pretty quickly. It gave me huge headchanges, this is a pretty strong strain. I believe it is sativa. It was covered in a lot of crystals, it wasn't trimmed so well, had leaves. The smell was strong, like skunk and something like pine. The high was pretty strong but didn't last to long. $50/2.5 gram

Genetics - Lemon Thai x Chem Dawg
This is one of my favorite nuggets. I got this from a reliable source and they called it "OG Kush", can't say for sure but it was super fresh. The nuggets were really dense and well trimmed. They had really huge, nice crystals coated all over the nug. It smelled really fruity with a hint spicey. The taste was really good, similar to the smell. It was really sticky and the bowls burned forever. Definitely recommend this strain.

Review: This strain didn't smell to strong from far away but once you put it to your nose it smelled really nice. It smelled fruity and really sweet. It was really sticky and dried perfectly. It wasn't dry at all, just right. It was trimmed pretty well also, not so many leaves. It smoked pretty good, I got stoned after two bowls between two people, these bowls are pretty small. $20/gram
